ABOUT

ABOUT

Barbara Cardone is an architect and interior designer specializing in residences, hospitality spaces, and environments dedicated to reception, representation, and social life.
Her work begins with the analysis of how people behave in space: how they move, wait, meet, observe, gather, withdraw, and take part in everyday or formal rituals.
This research has led to the development of Galateo of Spaces, her proprietary method for reading and designing space as a grammar of relationships.
Within this approach, layout, light, material, proportion, threshold, and sequence are not only formal choices. They are devices that organize perception, regulate behaviour, and give structure to the experience of inhabiting.
The studio works across residential, hospitality, retail, cultural, and representative spaces, following each project from concept definition to completion, with attention to bespoke materials, furnishings, artisanship, and construction coherence.
